YARC Youth Advisory Board
Meet the YARC Youth Advisory Board (YAB)! The YAB is composed of youth from Massachusetts that guide the YARC in its research, community engagement, and education activities. For example, the YAB helped design this website. There is no one better to represent the youth voice better than themselves!
Sabrina (she/hers)
Why I joined the YAB: “I joined the YAB so youth can feel connected in the medical field and make sure I get every perspective to help youth feel included and heard.”
Fun fact: I grew up near the tallest mountain in the world - Mt. Everest!
Neli (she/hers)
Why I joined the YAB: “I wanted to join YARC because I’m very passionate about making sure youth feel heard and supported, especially when it comes to mental health. I think it’s really important to create safe spaces where young people can speak openly without feeling judged, and I’d love to help shape resources that truly reflect youth voices and experiences.”
Fun fact: I love music and enjoy experimenting with different genres and artists in my free time.
Deryq (he/him)
Why I joined the YAB: “I wanted to join the YARC because I’m tired of my community going down the same road and maybe more understanding can prevent that”
Fun fact: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is truly peak fiction and my favorite stand is “Za Hando”
